Pastor Michael Maddox (President/Ceo/Director)
Pastor Michael Maddox, a Florida native, began working in juvenile facilities in the 1970's. Titusville was the first juvenile facility where he began his ministry. At this time he was operating under "Love of Christ Youth Ministry". Since then, April 19, 2012 " Harvest Time Juvenile Ministries " was born. It became incorporated on March 28, 2013. Pastor Maddox has recruited and trained many volunteers and has seen thousands of young people come to full knowledge of Jesus Christ. Pastor Maddox is an Ordained Minister / A State Volunteer Chaplain for Department of Juvenile Justice and a dedicated leader who is reaching our troubled youth who are incarcerated, or in their own family home. His mission is simple reaching out through Jesus to help these troubled youth nation wide. By assisting others in other states Pastor Michael Maddox will try to help get open doors so they to may share Jesus with them. Pastor Maddox will use whatever means or resources within his means that are necessary to help turn around a troubled youth and put him or her on the right path! Remember, every youth is worth saving and should be given a second chance if they are willing to make that change.
Doris "DeeDee" Banks (Vice-President)
Doris "DeeDee" Banks serves as Vice-President and has been a volunteer with Harvest Time Juvenile Ministries, Inc., since 2012, serving in various facilities. Ms. Banks is not only a team leader, but also a volunteer Mentor and Chaplain for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. In addition, Ms. Banks maintains certification as a Child Protection Specialist and holds Bachelors degrees in Sociology and Vocal Performance as well as a Masters degree in Non-Profit Management.
Kathy Maddox (Secratary)
I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and moved to Florida in 1978. I would come to Florida during the summers to visit my grandparents and stay with my cousin. I then permanently made my home in Florida. I had a couple of jobs one working in a bank and another as a school bus driver. I have been working for our county for 28 years driving children to and from school. I have love my job working with children it has been a very rewarding job.
I guess by now you have figured out that I am married to Michael Maddox. We share two sons Craig and Jared. We have 4 grand children and 9 great grand children.
I have worked in church work since I was very young with children, teens, and womens groups. I have worked along side my husband Michael. We go into the juvenile detention center. I am also the secretary for Harvest Time Juvenile Ministries,Inc.
In 1971 I got saved. God did a marvelous work of grace in my and my wife's lives. At present I am the Executive Director of the Sanctuary Mission Inc.. I have been working with homeless since 1971. I came to The Sanctuary Mission in 2001. I became the Director in 2010. We are a faith based residential homeless shelter, that means we house men and women. We have a men's house and a lady's house. We house 20-30 residents. Some of our ladies come to us with children.
Prior to this I taught Vocational Education at Withlacoochee Technical Trade School for nine years. Prior to this I owned and operated my own machine shop for 18 years. Prior to that I was a Die Maker for the auto industry for 11 years. Prior to that I was in the USMC for 4 years. I've been working for 54 years. I am excited about what the lord is doing in my life and looking forward to being a servant in our Lord's kingdom. I am currently serving with Harvest Time Juvenile Ministries, Inc as a Board of Director.
I am a 4th Degree Black belt Martial Arts Instructor with over 20 years teachings experience in the art of Taekwondo. I am on the Board of Directors for breaking out Corporation. ( Corporation against human trafficking )and also Founder of Karate 4 Christ Ministries. ( K4C) is a ministry which travels to a juvenile center, group homes, churches and community events sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ! My goals are to be able to inspire others and to make a difference in people lives by creating a positive role model through the gifts and talents that the Lord has given me. I am honor to serve as a Board of Director of Harvest Time Juvenile Ministries, Inc.
